Capitol community to kick off 2025 legislative session with Legislative Forecast Luncheon

The annual Legislative Forecast Luncheon brings together business leaders, the governor, members of Arizona’s congressional delegation, state legislators, mayors, council members, county supervisors, and government affairs representatives to preview the 2025 legislative session.

This year’s LFL will take place on Friday, January 10, 2025, at the Phoenix Convention Center and will feature a fireside chat between Gov. Katie Hobbs and Arizona Chamber of Commerce & Industry President and CEO Danny Seiden.

The event will also feature a panel discussion moderated by KTAR host Mike Broomhead with state Senate President Warren Petersen, Speaker of the House-elect Steve Montenegro, Senate Minority Leader-elect Priya Sundareshan, and House Minority Leader-elect Oscar De Los Santos.

The event’s presenting sponsor is Philip Morris International.

Capitol watchers look forward to LFL every year as the event where elected officials outline the goals of the upcoming session and inform the business community and state leaders about the year ahead.

As it does every year, the Chamber on Friday will distribute its annual Business Agenda publication, which outlines the group’s priorities and positions on dozens of issues affecting the business community.
