Access to Special Funding for SMBs Offered by Free CARES Act Training

Phoenix, ARIZONA – 23 April 2020 – The impact of COVID-19 on small business is devastating. To assist, the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry has partnered with the Arizona Small Business Association (ASBA) to launch the “CARES Act Readiness Program for Small Businesses”.

Through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), Congress has made $600 billion in loans available to help support small businesses and keep workers employed. Banks have been placed under immense pressure to rapidly issue these special loans that, under certain conditions, are 100% forgivable.

The Chamber understands that qualified Arizona businesses need online applications that are fast and easy to complete. The Chamber’s new partnership with Acronis #CyberFit Financing initiative and Lendio will accelerate and streamline the process for eligible small businesses to access capital for employment retention and coverage of qualified overhead expenses.

“Keeping Arizona strong during the COVID-19 crisis is our top priority, and access to resources that can help support families and businesses in this time of need is critical. We’re proud to be at the forefront of efforts to help business be informed and engaged on what we, the federal government and our partners can do to help us all come through this together,” said Glenn Hamer, the president and CEO of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

I am excited we have had the opportunity to offer this essential training program with our partners. We look forward to seeing the success of our small business community,” said the CEO of the Arizona Small Business Association, Jess Roman.
