Lineup revealed for DesTechAZ

Wednesday, Woz U, Steve Wozniak’s EdTech company that transforms how individuals are educated with personalized, tech-based career training, released who will speak at DesTechAZ, its annual technology and education event. The event will take place October 11, 2018 at the JW Marriott Camelback resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Those selected to be on stage range over an assortment of iconic names, including:

  • Steve Wozniak, Woz U founder and Apple co-founder. Woz U teaches student professional development skills needed to enter high-demand positions in the technology industry.
  • Vitalik Buterin, founder of Ethereum and co-founder of Bitcoin Magazine. The Ethereum Foundation is a nonprofit organization which support and promote Ethereum Platform, base layer research, development and education to bring decentralized protocols and tools to the world that empower developers to produce next generation decentralized applications (dapps), and together build a more globally accessible, more free and more trustworthy Internet.
  • Vlad Martynov, BlockGeeks co-founder and Ethereum Competence Centre chairman. BlockGeeks is the blockchain technology centric educational, knowledge sharing and ecosystem development online platform.
  • Armando Christian Perez, also know as “Pitbull,” a musician, entrepreneur and innovator. Perez opened his own charter school in the fall of 2013 and is putting an emphasis on blockchain innovation in the music industry.

“It’s an honor to have these innovators and thought leaders within their industries join us and share their insights and passion for utilizing and developing blockchain-based solutions that will change the future not only for the tech community, but across all industries,” says Shelly Murphy, CEO of Woz U Foundation.

Together, these speakers will cover topics of blockchain technology, what the future holds, and how it will create disruption in all industries.
