Growing Gilbert adds 2,500 jobs with new Deloitte delivery center

Last week, Deloitte delivered the landmark announcement that it will open a 102,000 square foot delivery center in Gilbert. The center will create an estimated 2,500 jobs for the region, and serve to develop and implement cutting-edge technology solutions for a number of Deloitte’s diverse private and public sector clients.

The new location will provide technology-based solutions to meet an array of business needs, helping enterprise in the region and the country at large thrive. The delivery center will address the major market disruptors, including cloud, robotic and cognitive automation and blockchain to name a few, while preparing businesses to respond to the next wave of innovations.

Deloitte cited the available talent pool in the region as a primary reason for its decision to expand its presence in the Valley. The new location will require a diverse staff of information technology specialists with varying skill sets and backgrounds to inform creative business solutions for Deloitte’s range of customers.

Deloitte’s presence in the Valley will advance Arizona’s position as the go-to location in the region for business and technology development.

“We can expect to see more announcements of this magnitude in the future thanks to the work of many – our education communities, municipal and state leaders, along with the business community ensuring a long-term pipeline of qualified employees are prepared to fill these jobs,” Tilque said.

Deloitte will waste no time, opening at a temporary location this summer before making its permanent home this winter at Rivulon. Rivulon is a 250-acre development in Gilbert that boasts three million square feet of premier office space with additional retail and hotel spaces once it is complete.
